East Garden, Windsor Castle

Hi Guys

Just a catch up of whats been happening during late July with me. I took the opportunity to paint in Windsor and was lucky enough to be allowed to paint in the Queens private East gardens, what a fabulous place, I was certainly glad of my umbrella in the 30 degree heat.

I had just under 8 hours to complete an image and this is one of 3 that were done. Its built up from layers of acrylic ink, acrylic paint and a final oil layer. There are words describing how this place felt running through the paint layers.

The size of this is 60 x 60cm and the support is birch ply

Thank you Windsor and Eton...
